Acts 18 is the story of Paul's ministry in Corinth. After being driven out of Thessalonica and Berea, Paul travels to Corinth, where he meets Aquila and Priscilla, a Jewish couple who had recently been expelled from Rome. Paul begins to preach in the synagogue, and his message is met with opposition from the Jews. However, Paul is undeterred and continues to preach in the synagogue for a year and a half. At the same time, Paul begins to preach to the Gentiles in the city. His message is met with great success, and many people come to believe in Jesus. Eventually, the Jews become so angry that they bring Paul before the Roman proconsul, Gallio. However, Gallio refuses to hear the case, and Paul is released. Paul then leaves Corinth and travels to Ephesus, where he continues to preach the gospel. The chapter ends with Paul sending a letter to the church in Corinth, encouraging them to remain faithful to the gospel. This chapter of Acts is a great example of Paul's unwavering commitment to the gospel. Despite opposition from the Jews, Paul continues to preach the gospel in Corinth, and his message is met with great success. This chapter also shows the power of the gospel to reach even the most hostile of audiences. Paul's courage and faithfulness are an example to us all.
