Psalm 28

Commentary

This psalm is a beautiful expression of the deep trust that David had in God, despite his difficult circumstances. It reminds us that it's okay to cry out to God when we're feeling overwhelmed, and that we can trust Him to be our protector and defender. David's faith in God's ability to punish evil also speaks to the justice and righteousness that we can expect from God. Ultimately, this psalm points us towards a deep relationship with God, one in which we can be honest about our struggles and find strength in His unfailing love.
