Psalm 21

Commentary

Psalm 21 is a hymn of praise and thanksgiving for God's faithfulness to the king who trusts in Him. Throughout the psalm, there is a repeated emphasis on the blessings that come from trusting in God. The psalmist recognizes that the king's success is due to God's favor and acknowledges that it is God who provides him with strength, victory, and life.The psalm also reminds us that God is a just judge who punishes the wicked and protects the righteous. Those who oppose the king and seek his downfall will be defeated by God's power, and their plans will come to nothing.
