Psalm 12

Commentary

The message of this psalm is relevant for today's society as we often witness the wicked prospering and the faithful being marginalized. The psalmist, however, acknowledges that God will always preserve a faithful remnant, even in the darkest of times. The psalmist's cry for help reminds us that we too can turn to God in prayer when we feel overwhelmed by the injustices of the world, and that despite the prevalence of lies and deceit, the truth of God's justice and mercy will ultimately prevail. As we read this psalm, let us take comfort in the promise that God will always protect and preserve his faithful remnant.
