Psalm, 102

Commentary

The psalmist's deep distress echoes the experience of many who have felt forgotten or forsaken by God. Yet, in the midst of his agony, the writer remembers God's past faithfulness and clings to the hope that God will hear and respond to his cry for help. This psalm reminds us that even in our darkest moments, we can turn to God, who hears our every prayer and provides comfort and strength. It also inspires us to trust in God's steadfast love and unfailing compassion, even when we feel like we are at the end of our rope.
