Nehemiah 5

Commentary

In Nehemiah 5, we see Nehemiah's response to the plight of the people of Jerusalem. The people are suffering from a lack of food and money, and Nehemiah is deeply concerned. He calls a public assembly and speaks to the people, reminding them of the Lord's promises and urging them to remember their covenant with Him. He then takes action to help the people, forgiving their debts and providing food for those in need.
