Nehemiah 4

Commentary

In Nehemiah 4, we see Nehemiah's response to the opposition he faced in rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah and the people of Israel had been working hard to rebuild the walls, but their enemies had been trying to stop them. Nehemiah's response was to pray to God for help and to set up guards to protect the workers. He also encouraged the people to keep working, even in the face of opposition. Nehemiah's faith in God was evident in his prayer, and his courage in the face of opposition was inspiring. He was determined to see the walls of Jerusalem rebuilt, and he was willing to do whatever it took to make it happen. He was a leader who was willing to take risks and stand up for what he believed in. Nehemiah's example is one that we can all learn from. He showed us that we can have faith in God and courage in the face of opposition. He also showed us that we can be determined to achieve our goals, no matter what obstacles we face. Nehemiah's example is one that we can all strive to emulate.
