John 7

Commentary

John 7 is a chapter that speaks to the power of faith and the importance of trusting in God. In this chapter, Jesus is in Jerusalem for the Feast of Booths and is teaching in the temple. The people are amazed at his teaching and wonder where he got his wisdom. Jesus responds by saying that his teaching is from God and that anyone who believes in him will receive eternal life. The religious leaders are particularly hostile and try to arrest him, but they are unable to do so because his time has not yet come.
