The Day of the Lord
Commentary
In Joel 3, the prophet Joel speaks of the coming judgment of God upon the nations. He speaks of the day of the Lord, when God will judge the nations for their wickedness and bring destruction upon them. He speaks of the gathering of the nations to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, where God will judge them for their wickedness. He speaks of the Lord's anger and wrath, and of the destruction that will come upon the nations. He speaks of the Lord's power and might, and of the great and terrible day of the Lord. The message of Joel 3 is clear: God will judge the nations for their wickedness and bring destruction upon them. He will gather them to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, where He will judge them for their wickedness. He will bring His anger and wrath upon them, and the day of the Lord will be a great and terrible day. The message of Joel 3 is a warning to the nations to turn from their wickedness and seek the Lord, lest they face His judgment and destruction.
