Jeremiah 48

Commentary

The prophecy against Moab shows us the righteousness and justice of God, who will not tolerate arrogance and sin. It also highlights the importance of repentance and obedience to God’s will, even for nations outside of Israel. This chapter reminds us that God’s mercy is always available to those who turn away from sin and seek His forgiveness. As we read this chapter, let us examine ourselves and turn away from any pride or sinful behavior that may separate us from God’s love and mercy.
