פַּרשָׁנוּת

This chapter presents a tension between God's justice and mercy. The Savior's righteous anger towards sin is demonstrated through his vengeance against Edom, an infamously wicked nation. Nevertheless, his love and compassion towards his people are evident through his redeeming actions of leading them out of Egypt and sustaining them in the wilderness. This section culminates in a plea of repentance, urging God to forgive and restore his people. As we reflect on this chapter, we are reminded of the dual nature of God's character and the importance of acknowledging and responding to both his justice and mercy.
