Isaiah, 28

Commentary

This chapter teaches us about the importance of humility, and the consequences of pride. We see that God will not tolerate arrogance and sin, but He always offers a way of redemption for those who turn to Him. We also see that God has a plan of salvation for His people, and that plan is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The imagery in this chapter, particularly the metaphor of a cornerstone, shows the importance of Christ as the foundation of our faith. This chapter is a call to action - to seek God's wisdom and align our lives with His will. By doing so, we can receive His blessings and protection.
