Ezekiel 38

Commentary

This chapter is a reminder that God is in control of all world events, even those that seem to threaten his people. The image of a powerful invading army can be frightening, but God assures Ezekiel that he will protect his people. This is a message of hope for all believers, that we can trust in God's sovereignty and power, even in the face of seemingly overwhelming opposition.
