Commentary

Ezekiel's call to prophesy to the exiled Israelites was not an easy task. As a prophet, he was called to be a watchman who warned the people of impending danger and encouraged them to turn back to God. However, the people were stubborn and rebellious, which made it difficult for Ezekiel to get through to them. But despite the challenges, Ezekiel was faithful to his calling and continued to prophesy the word of God. This chapter teaches us that when God calls us to a task, He will equip us with everything we need to accomplish it, even in the face of opposition. We must also be willing to obey and faithfully fulfill our God-given assignments, regardless of the difficulty.
