Ezekiel 2

Commentary

The book of Ezekiel is often characterized by its vivid imagery and powerful, prophetic language. In this chapter, we see Ezekiel called to a daunting task: speaking truth to a nation that has turned away from God. Despite the difficulties he will face, Ezekiel remains faithful to his calling. He is strengthened by the promise of God's presence and guidance, and he is emboldened to proclaim the word of the Lord to the people of Israel. As Christians, we too are called to be faithful witnesses to the truth of God's word. May we be inspired by Ezekiel's example and trust in God's strength and guidance as we seek to fulfill our own callings.
