Ezekiel 29

Commentary

Throughout the Old Testament, we see God's judgment on nations that turn away from Him and worship false gods or put their trust in their own strength. In Ezekiel 29, we see a vivid picture of the consequences of arrogance and rebellion against God. The once-mighty nation of Egypt, known for its wealth, power, and wisdom, will be brought low by Babylon, serving as a warning to all who would oppose God's will. But even in His judgment, God is merciful and just, giving Egypt a chance to repent and turn back to Him. As we read this chapter, we are reminded of the importance of humility, obedience, and faithfulness to God.
