Ezekiel 26

Commentary

The book of Ezekiel is filled with prophecies, and chapter 26 is one such example. In this chapter, God's anger towards Tyre is revealed, and His judgment against the city is declared. Tyre was a pagan city that had grown wealthy through trade and commerce, but it had also actively oppressed God's people. As a result, they were to face the wrath of God.However, even in His judgment, God reminds us of His mercy. He promises that Tyre will not be destroyed completely, and its inhabitants will be given a chance to repent and turn to God. This chapter serves as a reminder that God is just and merciful, and that He will not tolerate oppression and cruelty towards His people.
