In 2 Peter 3, the Apostle Peter continues to warn his readers of the dangers of false teachers and their teachings. He begins by reminding them of the promise of the Lord’s return, and that they should be patient and wait for it. He then goes on to warn them of the scoffers who will come and mock the promise of the Lord’s return. He encourages them to remain steadfast in their faith and not be swayed by the false teachings of these scoffers.
