In 2 Chronicles 13, we read about the reign of Abijah, the son of Rehoboam. Abijah was the king of Judah and he reigned for three years. He was a righteous king who followed the Lord and sought to lead the people of Judah in the ways of the Lord. In this chapter, we read about the battle between Abijah and Jeroboam, the king of Israel. Abijah had a much smaller army than Jeroboam, but he trusted in the Lord and was confident that the Lord would give him victory.
