Issachar was the ninth son of Jacob and the fifth son of Leah in the Bible. He was born in Padan-aram and later became the father of four sons. Issachar was described as a strong and powerful man, who was known for his wisdom and understanding of the times. He was one of the twelve tribes of Israel, and his descendants were known as the Tribe of Issachar. The tribe was known for their ability to understand and interpret the events of their time, as well as for their ability to make wise decisions. They were considered to be a valuable resource for the Israelites, and were often called upon to offer advice and guidance to the other tribes.
