Rehab is a biblical figure best known for her role in the book of Joshua. She was a prostitute living in Jericho who helped the Israelites by hiding two of their spies. Rehab was the daughter of Eglon, the King of Moab, and had two brothers, Gera and Ehud. When the Israelites were preparing to invade Jericho, two of their spies went to the city and stayed at Rehab's house. When the King of Jericho found out, he sent his men to capture the spies. Rehab, however, hid them on the roof and lied to the King's men, telling them that the spies had already left. The spies were able to escape and return to the Israelites, who then conquered Jericho. As a reward for her help, Rehab and her family were spared from the destruction of the city. She was also given a place to live in the Israelite camp and was allowed to keep all of her possessions. Rehab is remembered for her bravery and loyalty to the Israelites. She is an example of how God can use anyone, no matter their past, to do great things.
