Hosanna

Hosanna was a biblical figure who is best known for her role in the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. She was the daughter of Symeon, a priest of the tribe of Levi, and the sister of Zacharias. She was a devout follower of Jesus and was present at his entry into Jerusalem. Hosanna was a part of the crowd that welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem, and she was the one who shouted out the words “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” This phrase is still used today in Christian worship services. Hosanna was also present at the Last Supper and was one of the women who followed Jesus to the Garden of Gethsemane. She was also present at the crucifixion and was one of the women who prepared Jesus’ body for burial. Hosanna is best known for her role in the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and for her devotion to Jesus.
