Hasten

Hasten was a biblical figure who is best known for his role in the Book of Exodus. He was the son of Amram and Jochebed, and the brother of Moses and Aaron. He was born during the time of the Israelites' enslavement in Egypt, and his parents were determined to protect him from Pharaoh's decree that all male Hebrew children be killed. Jochebed placed Hasten in a basket and set him afloat in the Nile River, where he was found by Pharaoh's daughter and adopted into the royal family.
