Apollonia

Apollonia was a biblical figure who is best known for her martyrdom. She was a Christian woman who lived in the 3rd century AD in the city of Alexandria, Egypt. She was the daughter of a wealthy family and had two siblings, a brother and a sister. Apollonia was a devout Christian and was known for her strong faith. She was arrested and tortured by the Roman authorities for her faith. She was forced to renounce her faith and when she refused, she was brutally beaten and her teeth were knocked out.
