Aner

Aner was a biblical figure who was a member of the Anakim tribe. He was the son of Dishon and the brother of Eshcol and Mamre. He was a close friend of Abraham and was one of the three Amorite kings who made a covenant with him. Aner is best known for his role in the covenant between Abraham and the three Amorite kings. He and his two brothers, Eshcol and Mamre, agreed to a covenant with Abraham in which they would not take any of his possessions or harm him in any way. In return, Abraham promised to give them a tenth of all the goods he acquired. Aner is also known for his role in the Battle of Siddim. He and his two brothers joined forces with Abraham to fight against the four kings of the east. The battle was a success and Abraham was able to reclaim all of the goods that had been taken from him. Aner is remembered for his loyalty and friendship to Abraham. He was willing to risk his own life to protect Abraham and his possessions. He is an example of faithfulness and loyalty in the Bible and is remembered for his role in the covenant between Abraham and the three Amorite kings.
